Jonelle & Ryan had such an incredible session last evening at the Saratoga Spa State park. We walked the springs and captured all the feels this warm summer night could possibly bring. Jonelle & Ryan adore one another and that's easy to see. Ryan loves Jonelle's affectionate heart and sense of humor, Jonelle loves Ryans smile and the way he makes her laugh! Water, woods and sun was what they were dreaming of for their engagement session and I'm pretty sure, beside true love, that's what we found!

I am in absolute awe of this dreamy, spring evening child session!! Aryanna Gracie is about to turn 5!!!.. But let me tell you, this beautiful little lady is far beyond her years when it comes to being in front of the camera! Complete natural! I'm truely speachless!.. Its a big milestone, turning 5.. Her mom made sure she felt like a true princess!! The Borrowed Boutique styled this session, Aryanna's mom, Jackie, selected an incredible gown from designer Anna Traint, my ABSOLUTE favorite designer!! .. And lets just say "a few" more Tutu Du Monde designed dresses!! To say I was in heaven planning and shooting this session with these ladies, is an understatement. Just a dream!! Thank you so much for making this happen!!!

I dont think you understand how hard it was for me to pick favorites from this session for this blog!! Maybe it's because Sam and Shane are such an amazing pair!?.. As a true Bostonian, Joe surprised Kelly on there first date, to a Bruins game & they've been together ever since. After a few years, they moved to Quincy, MA. A year later they had an opportunity to move to California!! So they pack up & moved to the sunny side! Though they now live in Cali, they decided to have the wedding "back home," choosing the Country Club of Pittsfield to tie the knot!!.. This multi family session at Scotia Collins Park, Scotia Landing, was quite the feat! With members traveling in from all areas of the country for a very special wedding!! Carol took advantage of the whole family being in town and also scheduled a family session! One which may be the only for quite some time. It is so hard sometimes to freeze time, capture a moments surrounded by all those you love. Put several children in the mix and it's almost impossible!! But we did it!!! I'm loving this session because I can only imagine how special seeing everyone together must be for this family. I made sure to capture more then just a formal family photo, but the special little moments and all the chaos in between. Because that's what family is, little moments, laughter and most definitely a bit of chaos!

Precoius twins, Hudson and Hadley were welcomed into the world July 22nd. At 10 weeks early these 2 were born fighters and became stronger and stronger every day! Haddie, born first at 10:49am weighing 2lbs 15oz and Hudson shortly after at 11:17am weighing 3lbs 10oz. What little blessings these two are!! Haddie came home after 45 days in intensive care, and Hudson after 60. Thats when i was invited into their home to capture this incredible family together! It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Trina & Mike and the twins! Thank you so much for inviting me to capture your beautiful family!!

As creatives we all have visions of what that perfect session would be like. Often when your passion becomes your career it's easy to lose track of what drives and inspires you. Every once in while between sessions I think it is so important I plan these styled shoots to ignite my creative side, captivate my clients and make sure my audience see's who I really am as a creative. This summer all I could think about is that gorgeous golden sunset light, horses in a beautiful country setting and of course dresses that wow, on a gal or two that love horses as much as I do! Because of some awesome friends I was able to make this vision a reality! Thank you so much to Sam Rose and my daughter, Meekah Marie for putting up with me, being so much fun to work with and of course absolutely killing it in front of my lens!! And thank you to Janelle for opening up the land and putting in all the work it took to prep the horses for the shoot!! Sam Rose did a spectacular job on her makeup, creating that perfect glowing look I was wanting! Also wearing the perfect bohemian styled maxi dress, from free people. Meekah Marie wore a gown designed by myself and my grandmother! You might be able to imagine what it's like, seeing her in something my grandmother an I worked on together, knowing I will have this piece and hopefully several more for future sessions, is also a dream! So thank you grandma for making this gown a reality!!

I really tried to push myself to try new techniques, using the light in ways that I haven't before, to create images that are unique and to continue to push myself to grow and learn! We all should do this, no matter what it is that we might do. Keep pushing, find your edge and really just be you.. Because when you put yourself in new and uncomfortable situations, quite often, the best version of yourself is discovered..

What an amazingly beautiful morning we had for Sierra's senior session this past sunday morning! Who doesn't love the crisp autumn air we have had this late august! Sierra will be starting her senior year, class of 2018, at Averill Park High in just over a week! History is her favorite subject and math, which i definitely can relate to, is her least. Outside of school Sierra loves being outdoors, swimming, boating and hanging out with her friends! It's also pretty obvious she absolutely loves being with her horse, Eshanti, and is super close with her younger sister Mckenzie. Sierra also spent many years involved with gymnastics and cheer, as a part of the cheer intensity all-star team! After High School she is thinking of attending college for journalism or an ultra sound tech. What an amazing young lady!! It was an absolute pleasure to work with Sierra and her family!! I can only image how proud they are of her! Congrats on all that is ahead of you Sierra!!

What an incredible day at the Winter Cove Inn and at the Kaaterskill Falls!!! If you haven't ventured into the Catskills to enjoy everything they have to offer, you just have to get there this summer!!! The mountains are so breathtaking and immense adventure awaits!!

SO much goes into pulling a styled wedding shoot together!! The Winter Cove Inn, excellent for any wedding day is nestled in the heart of the Catskills, was just perfect for our models to prep and offered a gorgeous setting for photos as well. I especially loved the covered bridge and falls, just steps from their beautiful front porch!! Marylu, owner of Ferri Formal bridal was so gracious to allow me to select a gown and tux from their shoppe! This gown, a Lillian West, was a perfect match for our beautiful bride, Samantha Rose!! And our Groom, Bruce Fleming, looked remarkable in a navy blue, vested tux and bow tie. Just Perfect!! Every last detail was chosen with care with the guidance of wardrobe stylist Randi Poillon, with Styled by Randi, who always offers superb service before and during the session!! Makeup artist, Beauty by Julie, Julie Occhino's work was absolutely flawless, giving Sam the exact subltely glam glow look we were looking for!! For hair, by Blair Tannheimer, I chose a simple crown braid with flowing waves, for a naturally beautiful look! Samantha Fleming, assisted the entire shoot by 2nd shooting and offering a helping hand whenever needed!! And of course, what's a wedding without beautiful blooms!!! Bountiful Blooms florist worked with me and provide this elegant bouquet and boutineer!! This amazing, talented team, made this day possible and I am so so greatful!! A HUGE THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!!! So excited to share a handful of my personal faves from this shoot!!

From the belly to baby I have been honored to capture Mckayla and Shawn adventure of becoming parents. Landon Scoot arrived 5/9/2017 at 10:37am weighing 7lbs 120z and 21in. long.. He is perfect in every way!! From his pouty lips and plump round cheeks, he will melt your heart in an instant!! Mckayla and Shawn have taken on the role of parenthood so naturally, there love for this precious boy so true. Landon Scott welcome to the world, you are so so loved!!!

Thursday afternoon was an absolutely beautiful day at the Yaddo Gardens in Saratoga, for this sweet, fun loving couples maternity session. Eric surprised Megan with a visit to Yaddo Gardens this past september! Megan couldn't help but fall in love and think of Yaddo as the perfect location for their session. Megan looked absolutely amazing in her fitted burgundy maternity gown with extended chiffon train. The color complemented her beautiful porcelain skin and strawberry blonde hair perfectly! But of course, nothing looks better on a woman then the glow of expecting! Ella Justine, Megans first, is expected June 21 and Eric and Megan are so excited for her arrival!!

It's hard to believe our baby boy is almost one!! Seems like just yesterday I was holding you for the first time! You are so full of spunk, personality and funny faces. Your smile lights up the room, laugh is contagious and snuggles; so full of love. You look up to your big brother and sister, long to play with them all day and try so hard to keep up with everything they do! Your first steps were just a few days ago, and as soon as the snow melts I cant wait to see you running through the grass with rosy cheeks!! Daddy has introduced you to Oreo's and ice cream; which you love almost as much as he does, along with wrestling, tickles and raspberries just before bedtime. Meekah loves to hold your hands as you learn to walk, but also as she snuggles you when you have played so hard. Brayden loves to crawl-chase you round and round as well as introduce you to his vast Dino robot collection. You are intrigued by story books and very interested in the words on the page, it's like you know they tell a story. Mommy loves to play music and watch you dance and sing along and nibble and kiss your chunky cheeks as much as possible.. Naptime and bedtime might be my favorite times with you; but not because you keep me so busy while you are awake, but because as I rock you to sleep on my shoulder, you still nuzzle your nose into my neck and still smell and sound like my little baby boy. Though we cant wait to see your next milestone, we treasure the precious times with you as our baby boy. You are so loved Grayson Elliot!!

Proud parents Alyssa and Shane Mitchum welcomed their son Jack Henry into the world on Friday, December 30th at 3:29pm. Born at St. Peter's Hospital, he was 7 pounds, 13 ounces and 20 inches long. Three weeks later, he has already grown two inches, he is going to be tall like his Daddy! Jack is named after Shane's Grandfather, John J Ruff and Alyssa's Grandfather, Henry Radley. He joins his big brother Freedom, the family Bichpoo pup, who is already very protective of him. Jack is the first grandchild on both sides of the family. Alyssa and Shane are overjoyed with his arrival and fell in love at first sight.

Blair and John are the kind of couple you just know you will have a good time with! Arriving at their slightly chilly autumn engagement session, Blair reached into her pocket and pulled out 2 single serve shots, looked a John and said, “all right! Are you ready?” in the most adorable way. Insinuating, not just; are you ready to take this shot, but; are you ready to start this new adventure!!? I can just picture this reoccurring on their big day. All the anticipation leading to one moment where they both look at each other and know each new moment they share together is exciting and everlasting. John, despite somewhat obvious unsure feelings about being in front of the camera, and Blair completely rocked their E session!! Blair had shared her vision of a woodsy romantic session, so I couldn't resist sharing this awesome spot, The historic site of Olana in Hudson, NY!! A gorgeous castle surrounded by acres of woodlands, beautiful landscaping and architecture!! How much more romantic can it get!?!.. It was a fabulous afternoon and I simply cannot wait to share their special day with them, next October, at the beautiful Glen Sanders Mansion!! Congrats Blair & John!!

School is well underway, schedules turning to productive routines and our children impressing us every day with their experiences! But they wont be little for long!! Don't forget to take a bit of time capture them as they are right now; adorable, sassy and smart!!

Take a peek, hard to believe my own kiddos, Meekah and Brayden are in kindergarten and third grade! Had so much fun playing with this set!! I know I am greatful to have these memories to look back on... Before we know it they will be off to college!!!

Born May 21, 1990 Josie celebrated her Sweet 16 aboard the Dutch Apple Cruise this past friday!! Like a princess she arrived in a black stretch limo, in her gorgeous teal gown and sparkling tiara. Her guests dressed to impress and ready to hit the dance floor!! A stunning 3 tiered white and teal, horse drawn carriage and castle cake complimented the special occasion perfectly! As the sun set on the hudson it was clear Josie would remember this night for a lifetime..

Josie spends most of her time working and practicing at Cheer Intensity All-Stars as well as with the AP varsity Cheer Team. As a level 4 All Star Cheerleader, her team recently placed 7th in the country at the 2016 Summit!! Amazing!! While Josie is not cheering, she enjoys spending her time with her boyfriend Timmy, German Shepard Payton and of course friends and family! Every year since she was little, she looks forward to spending vacations amongst the rocky shorelines and beaches in Ogunquit, Maine.

Shawn and Mckayla first met at the wedding of Shawn's cousin, bride being one of Mckalya's best friends.. They quickly hit it off and began dating!!..Three years later, Shawn and Mckayla planned a destination wedding getaway at Atlantic City. This was their fairytale coming true; and though it was far from home, all of their family and friends were invited to share with them this special occasion. Proof that the closeness they share with family and friends, 75 guests traveled to witness the marriage of this beautiful couple!! The day was perfect, sun shone bright and the breeze was just right. Mckayla, stunning as always, and Shawn pledged their love with the sand at their feet, ocean air and loved ones surrounding them..

Mckayla and Shawn, like many couples today, decided to have a first look prior to the ceremony.. So many emotions captured! Any nerves put at ease when they took that first glance and embrace.

"Formal photos" took place at sunset, several hours and several beverages later ;-) Getting the group together, in a straight line and somewhat attentive was interesting!! However as you can see in each image, personalities began to show and entertainment brought to their photos!! Loving these!!!...

The friendship that started it all :-) ...

One cousin of Shawns, happening to be my dear husband, decided it would be a FANTASTIC idea to drop down to his under armour briefs.. Another cousin, feeling left out of the fitted boxer clan, decided to show off a bit more skin then the rest.. EPIC :-) TY BOYS!! lol how can you not love the personality in this!?!

Beaty and grace returns with these romantic sunset portraits. Colors just right, love so true!!

...And after a wonderful dinner, the fireworks completed this amazing couples wedding day; as they say, they will love one another, "to the moon and back" forever <3
